The results of the national competition “Professional internships 2.0” have been announced. Students from three faculties of Voronezh State University: the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, the Faculty of Geography, Geoecology, and Tourism, and the Faculty of Economics are among the winners of the event.
“This project is a path to self-development and self-actualisation. Only 505 young people out of 81,223 applicants from 55 regions of the Russian Federation made it to the final. I hope that this starting stage showed the participants what their abilities and the potential for further growth are,” said Natalia Yakovenko.
“Professional internships 2.0” is a new way for students of educational institutions and employers to interact, which uses student employment and internships as a means of social mobility for young people. It is implemented within the federal project “Means of social mobility for every person”, the national project “Education”, and the project of the presidential platform “Russia is a land of possibilities”.
The competition assesses course and graduate qualification papers completed by students from institutions of secondary vocational and higher education within cases (practice-oriented tasks) of the partners of the competition (companies, organisations, and authorities). The goal of the competition is to identify business aptitudes and competencies and to support professional development of active and ambitions young people.
