In order to access the electronic catalogue, you should go to the website of VSU research library and select the "Electronic Catalogues" tab from the top menu (See Fig. 1).
Fig. 1
Here, you can do an advanced search (by the author, year, or type of publication), or a general search if you do not know the exact parameters of the publication (Fig. 2). For your convenience, you can open the search page in a new window by clicking on the "VSU electronic catalogue" tab (the top arrow, Fig. 2).
Fig. 2
In the Search window, you can search for the necessary record by a number of parameters: the author, year, type of publication, etc. After you have chosen the parameters, click "Search" (Fig. 3).
Fig. 3
Then, you will see the list of records that satisfy the selected criteria. If there is a link to a PDF-file or a URL-address, it means the publication is available in an electronic format. You can download the publication from VSU's intranet: from the computers in the reading rooms and at the departments, as well as using personal devices (laptops, tablet PCs.....) registered in the university Wi-Fi system (Fig. 4). If you click the "Details" tab, it will open a page that contains the information about the publication – the number of copies and where they can be obtained.

You can find the telephone numbers and the addresses of the library's departments and the reading rooms at the website, in the "Departments" section at the top (Fig. 5).

You can get remote access to VSU library's resources if you have a login and a password. Your login is the e-mail address within VSU domain, and the password is the password to that e-mail account. You can get the login information from your Faculty's system administrator.
