On 12th–20th October, a delegation from Voronezh State University including Prof. Yury Bubnov – Vice Rector for Strategic Administrative Management, Prof. Viacheslav Kuznetsov from the Department of High Molecular Compounds and Colloids, and Petr Kuschev and Ilya Pankov – postgraduate students of the Department, attended the CIRI Expo Qingdao 2014 international exhibition.
The exhibition, dedicated to achievements in the rubber industry, took place in the city of Qingdao in China. A tournament in high molecular compound chemistry among undergraduate and postgraduate students was organized as part of the event. This resulted in Voronezh State University postgraduate students winning several awards.
During the events, a strategic collaboration agreement was signed between VSU and Rubber Valley Co., Ltd., whereby a VSU representative office is to be established in the Qingdao Rubber Valley, and company's representative office will be opened at our university. Another agreement was reached for the President of Rubber Valley Co., Ltd. and the Mayor of Qingdao to visit Voronezh.
Furthermore, meetings were held with Qingdao University of Science and Technology administration and VSU students currently doing internship programmes there.
