On 13–19 November, Voronezh State University welcomed the delegation from the People's Republic of China, led by Head of the State Permanent Committee of the Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Qiao Xuezhi, as well as the representatives of the people's government of Haidong prefecture (Qinghai province), Delingha city Industrial Park, Administrative Committee of the Economy Experimental Area in Qaidam, the State Construction Company of the Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, State Finance Department of the Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the people's government of Delingha city, and other government organizations and business structures.
On 13 November, Vladimir Titov – Director of VSU Chinese Centre – made a presentation on Voronezh and Voronezh State University in the main building's auditorium.
The itinerary of the visit included lectures given by economists, ecologists, and chemists, under the "Topical Issues of Resource Conservation and Closed-Cycle Production" programme, as well as a tour of Voronezh city, Zadonsk city and "Galichya Gora" reserve, visiting OOO "LOS", OAO "Voronezhsintezkauchuk", and OOO "Mivok" companies, and meeting a representative of the Voronezh Region Economic Development Department.
