Voronezh State University has signed a collaboration agreement with the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia (Bulgaria) aimed at maintaining mutually beneficial academic co-operation in the sphere of Slavic philology.
The agreement provides for close collaboration in education and research, sharing methodological experience, academic staff exchange, and conducting joint research studies. Under the collaboration agreement, there are plans to organize joint conferences, seminars, and academic projects, for the representatives of both universities, as well as arranging two-way education and training programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students and scholars, in addition to specialized courses and lectures. Apart from that, the universities are going to publish joint collections of scientific papers and exchange key study materials, including electronic publications.
