On 17th January, the Epiphany fundraising event was held at the Pokrovsky Cathedral children's refugee camp in Otradnoye village in the Voronezh region. It was organized by Chairman of the United Russia Party Regional Council, Rector of Voronezh State University Dmitriy Endovitskyy, member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation Oksana Khoronzhul, and VSU student council.
The event included the visits of VSU Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Social Development Oleg Grishaev, member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation Oksana Khoronzhul, and members of VSU Student Council Nikolay Sereda and Nikita Mosolov.
A bus loaded with humanitarian aid for the children – sweets, stationery, and board games – was sent to the refugee camp. Head of the camp – Father Gennadiy Zaridze – showed the guests around and expressed his hope for further cooperation.
