The Theatre of Equals among whose actors are young people with disabilities is going to give guest performances in the region. The audience will have a chance to see the second production of the company – the play "Empty Souls" based on the stories by Andrei Platonov.
This April the theatre's administration received an offer to take part in the subsidy programme for socially vulnerable groups. In the summer the team was included into the programme. By that time it had already started getting ready for the planned guest performances.
It has been reported that the theatre is going to visit Pavlovsk in September, and in October the Platov's stories are going to be shown in Borisoglebsk and Ramon. The Theatre of Equals has received 400,000 roubles for their tour. The subsidy also covers a few performances in Voronezh, most of the tickets for which will be free and distributed between socially vulnerable groups.
The subsidies are going to be used in the mid August when the theatre announces the new theatre season and in the end of 2015 the audience will be presented with the third production of the theatre – a Christmas fairy tale.
