On 16th November, II Voronezh business community forum was held at EXPO EVENT HALL as part of the International entrepreneurship week. It attracted over 20,000 visitors, including representatives of the regional business community, administration and Media. Voronezh State University was represented by the Head of the VSU innovative business incubator Alexander Khvan, as well as by students and university participants in the innovation projects competition "VSU start-up factory". Some of the discussions were dedicated to sustainable forms of cooperation between businessmen and governmental authorities as well as possible solutions of problems arising in the process of business start up and development.
'Today Higher Education Institutes have to solve financial problems and search for resources to sustain growth. That is why it is very important to develop in universities entrepreneurial activity. Small innovative businesses opened in partnership with VSU have to deal with problems of commercialisation of the results of intellectual activity, high business risks, and searching for customers requiring innovative products. Our participation in such events encourages our cooperation with state aid agencies, and we can’t overvalue their contribution to the process of overcoming such difficulties,' said Alexander Khvan.
