Our university has made an agreement with one of the best known European universities that fostered over 40 Nobel Prize winners – the University of Göttingen (Germany). The agreement was dedicated to the implementation of a joint academic programme in Philology.
The new master's programme "Russian Literature in the European Context" has been implemented at the Department of Russian Literature of the Faculty of Philology. The graduates of the master's programme will get two diplomas – Russian and German.
The academic programme is dedicated to the comparative study of Russian literature in a wide cultural, historical, and literature aspect. Apart from philological disciplines masters students will do such courses as "Social mythology", "Slavic literatures and correlation between them", "Literature genres and periods", "Existential typology of Russian literature", and "Supertexts in Russian literature".
Voronezh students will spend the third term of their studies at the University of Göttingen where they will get a chance to have a closer look at European academic and cultural life.
