This year, the International Cooperation Department is conducting a “VSU Ambassadors” project. The aim is to create a good international image of the University, to enlarge the number of academic exchange programmes, and to improve the international awareness of the education programmes for international students at VSU. The project is based on the idea that every VSU student taking part in an exchange programme is our ambassador, a source of information for students and teachers abroad.
In order to see how much our students know about the University, the International Cooperation Department held a competition among students for the best presentation of Voronezh State University. There were 19 participants, and 7 of them presented their projects at the Final stage on January 21st. The jury included the Head of the International Cooperation Administration Natalia Zhurbina, faculty members responsible for international cooperation, and Vice-Rector for Economic Development and International Cooperation Oleg Belenov.
The jury chose the most interesting presentations. All the participants proved that they are worthy of being the University’s ambassadors. The jury awarded all the participants with presents and souvenirs that they should pass to their friends and colleagues in partner-universities.
After the award ceremony the participants had a meeting with Sergey Laptev, Head of the Voronezh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who shared his experience in international relations, and answered questions about living abroad.
