On 19th February, a meeting of the Research and Methodology Board dedicated to the issues of implementation of an integral project in collaboration with Kosmos-Neft-Gaz aimed at creating hi-tech production was held in the main building of Voronezh State University. The name of the project is “Creating high tech production of efficient multifunctional membrane units for high purity hydrogen evolution” (the project is implemented within the framework of the Decree of the Russian Government № 218). The meeting was chaired by the Development Director of Kosmos-Neft-Gaz Igor Aristov, and the VSU Vice-Rector for Innovations and Technology Commercialization Tatiana Davydenko.
Among other participants of the meeting were staff members of the Faculty of Chemistry responsible for the implementation of the project: Valentin Ievlev, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Head of the Department of Materials Science and the Head researcher of the project; Alexandr Maksiminko, research fellow at the Department of Materials Science and the Industry of Nanosystems; Alexei Dontsov, research fellow at the Department of Materials Science and the Industry of Nanosystems; and Andrei Prizhimov, research fellow at the Department of Materials Science and the Industry of Nanosystems. The representatives of Kosmos-Neft-Gaz present at the meeting included Research Director Vladimir Khokhlov, the Head of the R&D Department Yulia Merkulova, and the Head of a group within the R&D Department Dmitry Kuligin.
The participants of the event agreed on the project management structure, discussed the primary tasks and identified the main areas of research, and considered procurement issues of the first stage of the research.
