A second year student from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics of Voronezh State University, Anna Nekhoroshikh, as a member of the Voronezh regional team took part at the National Swimming Championship for the visually challenged in Saint Petersburg. Thanks to Anna's overall success in the competition the team took third place for teams.
Our student showed brilliant results in the individual classification – she won the gold medal in the 100-meter breaststroke (1.29.80), the silver medal in the 50-meter free style (33.69), the silver medal in the 50-meter backstroke (39.71), the silver medal in the 50-meter breaststroke (40.25), and the silver medal in the 100-meter backstroke (1.23.30).
