On May 26, a teleconference with Sichuan International Studies University (Chongqing, China), was held at the Faculty of Philology. The major event was a competition between four teams – two teams of international students from the Faculty of Philology, and two teams of Chinese students that are learning Russian.
The competition included various tasks: painting, solving logical problems, and answering questions. The teleconference also gave the participants an opportunity to get to know each other. Students from Sichuan International Studies University asked a lot of questions about Voronezh, its leisure facilities, student’s life, Russian cuisine, etc., as some of the Chinese students are coming to Voronezh as part of an academic exchange programme.
The winner of the competition was one of the teams from Sichuan International Studies University. At the end all the participants sang the Russian folk song “Katyusha”. Everyone enjoyed the teleconference very much and are looking forward for the next one.
