Voronezh State University has been among the best 100 world universities and has taken the 99th position. This year 64 Russian universities were included in the international ranking and Voronezh State University takes 22nd position among them. Voronezh State University has left some federal and national research universities of Russia behind and has taken the first position among universities of the Central Federal District (excluding Moscow universities that are exclusive in terms of location and status).
One more university of the Central Federal District has been included in EECA–2016 200 best universities – Belgorod State University, that takes 54th position among Russian universities and 151st–200th position among universities of the world.
The research considered academic reputation, the views of the employers, the student:faculty ratio, the percentage of international academic staff and students, the percentage of academic staff with a PhD, Internet resources efficiency and publishing activity. Such a high position of VSU in the international ranking is largely thanks to its talented and united group of employees that is continually showing world-class results.
