Voronezh State University has many international partners, including Chinese universities. Areas of cooperation between VSU and China include the support of the Russian language and cultural centres in Chinese Universities and exchange programmes. Chinese interns pay a lot of attention to learning Russian at VSU. Our university can offer them various interactive programmes, which will help them to master the Russian language.
Within the framework of the academic project "Russian Virtual Class", the laboratory for new educational technologies of the VSU International Education Institute developed a software and methodological platform for distance learning of Russian as a foreign language. With the help of this programme, the academic staff of the Institute of International Education's Department of the Russian language for international students create electronic materials for international students, including students from China.
A language-oriented interactive simulator study guide "Ruso сomunicativo. Russian for Communication” was also created for distance learning of the Russian language. It provides students with the most user-friendly tools for self-learning of Russian outside of a language learning environment. Originally the platform was developed for Spanish-speaking students and this year, it was adapted for Chinese students. The study guide takes into account peculiarities of the educational process in China and Chinese mentality.
