A farewell party for international students, which was the last event of the term, was held on 17 December. It was organised by the staff of the International Student Exchange Office of Voronezh State University and volunteers from the Buddy Club. Among the participants of the party were international students from America, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Poland, Columbia, Indonesia, and other countries.
It was a traditional New Year Eve celebration with circle dancing, a festive dinner, a decorated Christmas tree, and Ded Moroz (Russian Father Frost), who gave presents to students for their performances. The students enjoyed singing the songs of different countries and nations with music from guitars. Also, the Buddy Club volunteers finalised the results of the term and awarded students with souvenirs with symbols of Voronezh State University.
