On 20 July, representatives of one of the largest transnational telecommunication companies, Deutsche Telecom AG, paid a visit to Voronezh State University. The guests were welcomed by the Rector of the university, Dmitry Endovitsky, the Deputy Head of the Department of Innovation and Business, Igor Svertkov, and deans and representatives of the faculties.
It should be mentioned that Voronezh State University is involved in active cooperation with one of the company’s subdivisions in Voronezh – T-Systems. In 2012, T-System’s T-Uni training centre was opened at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics and IT students have had an opportunity to do their practice training in the company. The participants of the meeting discussed possible areas for cooperation between VSU and Deutsche Telecom AG.
