Voronezh State University signed a memorandum of cooperation with Kobe Gakuin University (Kobe, Japan). It aims at establishing student and academic staff exchange programmes which will lead to the strengthening of research and academic ties between universities in both countries. This year, VSU puts a lot of effort into the development of exchange programmes with Japan. Kobe University has become VSU’s second partner university.
This year, Voronezh State University has signed an academic cooperation agreement with Sophia University (Tokyo, Japan) aimed at extending academic contacts. VSU is also involved in a long-term cooperation with the Japanese company OTSL Inc. (Nagoya). The VSU-based Embedded-systems Software Technologies Training Centre has been training specialist in the area of embedded-systems development in accordance with the requirement of the software industry in Japan, the USA, and Taiwan for four years.
