Between 16 and 21 October, the Students’ Spartakiade was held in Novovoronezh. The participants competed in three sports – table tennis, track-and-field athletics, and basketball. Among the competitors in table tennis there were teams from eight universities in Belarus and Russia. Our country was represented by the teams from Voronezh State University, Voronezh State Technical University, and Voronezh State Institute of Physical Training.
The prizes were awarded as following:
- first place – Belarusian State University (Minsk);
- second place – Voronezh State University (Voronezh);
- third place – Belarusian State University of Transport (Gomel).
