On 27 November, Denis Vyalykh, professor at Donostia International Physics Centre (Spain) and Head of the Russian and German Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin BESSY II megafacilities laboratory (Berlin), gave a lecture at VSU. He told the audience about the laboratory of the synchrotron radiation facility BESSY II and its development prospects.
He also had a meeting with VSU Rector, Dmitry Endovitsky, and Associate professor of the Department of Solid-State Physics and Nanostructures, Chairman of the Council of Young Scholars and Specialists of Voronezh Region, Sergei Turistchev.

Here we have students coming from 82 regions of the Russian Federation. They all obtain very deep knowledge here. Collaboration with Donostia International Physics Centre and the Russian and German Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin BESSY II megafacilities laboratory gives our students a great opportunity to show their talents”, – said Dmitry Endovitsky.
The meeting ended with signing a memorandum of understanding between Voronezh State University and Donostia International Physics Centre.
