On 25 May, African students of Voronezh State University celebrated their traditional holiday – the Day of Africa. An exhibition of national handicraft souvenirs was organised in the hall of VSU building No. 6. Afterwards a concert was held at the University Hall.
The audience were very impressed by the presentation of sights and landmarks of Africa, especially by its flora and fauna. African students also sang national songs, and performed dances that the audience liked very much. Another attraction were the bright national costumes of the students. International students from other countries congratulated their African friends.
The event was organised by the VSU African Students Union together with the Institute of International Education of VSU.
