ISC Paris Business School has been offering the Executive MBA programme for a number of years and it is accredited by the international organisation AACSB. ISC accredited the lecturers of the VSU Business School and delegated them with the right to implement the joint academic programme. EMBA is aimed at a wide audience of people interested in receiving an international degree for business or career development. The programme is aimed at improving the professional competence of top managers, learning new skills, and encouraging further development.
Alexander Gusev welcomed the participants of the meeting and said that EMBA, an international postgraduate organizational management programme, is well-recognised all over the world. He thanked the French delegation for their cooperation and wished for the “Executive MBA” programme to see further development.
The meeting also discussed the development of small business in the Voronezh Region, and in particular a comprehensive programme that will enhance the development of small and medium businesses. The president of the international commission MEDEF, Philippe Verbert, will help to develop such a programme and share his experience and methods with his Voronezh colleagues.
After the meeting the diploma award ceremony was held for the first graduates of the master’s programme “Executive MBA”, who were 11 employees representing different small and large businesses in Voronezh. The graduates were welcomed by the provisional deputy governor of the Voronezh Region, Yury Agibalov, the Rector of Voronezh State University, Dmitry Endovitsky, the French Counsellor of International Economics, the president of the international commission MEDEF, Philippe Verbert, and the Director of the MBA Programme Department at ISC Paris Business School, Charles Berger.
“This project is very important, especially considering Vladimir Putin's Presidential Decree “On national objectives and strategic aims for the development of the Russian Federation until 2024”. The fact that VSU and ISC Paris Business School run a joint project demonstrates that our countries can effectively collaborate and both benefit from the collaboration. We hope that the positive collaboration experience in the sphere of education will enhance the popularity of the programme,” – said Yury Agibalov.
The defence ceremony of qualification works by the programme’s students took place at VSU in April. In accordance with the requirements of the programme the projects were defended in Russian and were evaluated by the examination commission comprised of representatives from VSU and ISC Paris Business School.
The project is coordinated by the Director of the Regional French Centre and the Head of the Department of French Philology of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, Elena Alexeyeva, and the Director of the VSU Business School, Svetlana Klinova.
