Sochi held the second National interuniversity GxP summit for “Choice of the Best. Time Forward” supported by the Ministry for Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices.
The summit was participated in by the most talented science students and postgraduates of the leading universities from Russia, CIS, South Asia, and Europe. VSU was represented by a PhD student of the Faculty of Pharmaceutics, Margarita Rudaya.
The summit lasted three days and included competitions, presentations, sightseeing tours, and meetings with representatives of the leading Russian and world pharmaceutical companies. Among the partners of the summit were such companies as Astellas, Generium, STADA, LDV-Group, Valenta, SUNPharma, Novartis, Fedegari, Geropharm, Sotex, Nacimbio, Sintez, Microgen, Abbott/Veropharm, Hetero, Fedegari, KRKA, and Biohimik.
Margarita Rudaya won a special prize from one of the partners, Sotex. She received a certificate for a three-day trip to Sergiyev Posad and a tour of ZAO Pharmaceutical company Sotex, one of the most high-tech and innovative pharmaceutical companies in Russia which manufactures injectable drugs according to the requirements of the Regulations on the manufacturing of medical substances and quality control (GMP EU).
