In advance of VSU’s academic anniversary the VSU Publishing House published the English version of the book “VSU from A to Z”. It was written by undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics, the Faculty of Computer Sciences, the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, the Faculty of Physics, the Faculty of Geography, Geoecology, and Tourism, the Faculty of Geology, the Faculty of International Relations, and the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology. The book was prepared by the team from the Department of English Language for Sciences Faculties and illustrated by the graduate from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics, Evgenia Chekhonadskikh.
The foreword was written by the Rector of VSU, Professor Dmitry Endovitsky. It consists of essays in English, which in alphabetical order explain concepts connected with the history and the present state of Voronezh State University.
The edition is dedicated to VSU’s centenary and is a follow-up of the book by a VSU veteran, Associate Professor V.S. Listengarten, which was published in 2015 and was highly praised by the university community.
