At the Faculty of International Relations of Voronezh State University, Associate Professors at the Department of Regional Studies and International Economies, Dmitry Lomsadze and Natalia Zhurbina, held a scientific seminar dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Jean Monnet Actions of the Erasmus+ programme. The event was carried out in the framework of the annual student research session. Among the participants of the seminar were lecturers, bachelor and master’s students of the programme “International regional studies” (module: “European studies”).
The organisers presented the key achievements of the educational projects of Jean Monnet foundation completed within ERASMUS+ programme “Reducing Shadow Economy: Adapting European Experience in Russia” (SHEXP) (Associate Professor D.G. Lomsadze) and “Migration in the European Union: Concerns and Prospects” (Associate Professor N.E. Zhurbina, Associate Professor E.I. Yakushkina) which have been successfully implemented at VSU since 2016. Bachelor and master’s students gave reports on the projects.
The best reports presented at the seminar will be published in the collection of articles “Panorama” at the Faculty of International Relations of VSU.
All in all, the Department of Regional Studies and International Economies now carries out 3 projects within the Erasmus+ programme, Jean Monnet Action “Educational module”, which indicates an active engagement of lecturers and students of the department in cooperation with international research and educational programmes of the European Union.
