VSU representatives Olga Boriskina, the dean of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, Elena Dolbilova, the head of the Centre of Spanish language and culture, and Yulia Pustovalova, a lecturer at the faculty, took part in the International Week dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Leon University. VSU and Leon University has been partners for over 30 years.
The programme of the visit was very eventful. On the first day of the International Week, VSU delegation gave a presentation about our university for colleagues from 45 countries taking part in the conference. They also talked about the major areas of cooperation between the universities and the education programmes VSU provides for Spanish students.
Olga Boriskina also participated in a round table discussion where she talked about the history of partnership between VSU and Leon University. Lecturers from the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology gave a series of workshops for Spanish students.
The delegation also had a meeting with the rector of Leon University, the vice-rector for internationalisation, and the dean of the Faculty of Philology.
