Between, 27 and 31 May, the staff of the Department of Solid-State Physics and Nanostructures of the Faculty of Physics of Voronezh State University took part in the international conference of the European Materials Society (E-MRS 2019 Spring Meeting) in Nice (France).
Associate Professor Sergey Tiristchev and research fellow Elena Parinova gave the presentation “Atomic, electronic structure and composition synchrotron investigations of top-down silicon nanowires covered by MOCVD tin oxide” and the poster presentation “Electronic structure and composition of porous silicon nanopowders”.
The programme of the conference was very diverse and the presentations of our scientists attracted a lot of interest. The report “Atomic, electronic structure and composition synchrotron investigations of top-down silicon nanowires covered by MOCVD tin oxide” was presented in the framework of the project RNF 17-72-10287 “Atomic and electron structure of new functional composite nanostructures based on wide-band tin oxides and hybrid bionanomaterials combined with filamentary silicon” headed by Elena Parinova (Contest 2017 for the activity “Conducting research with the participation of young scientists” within the presidential programme of research projects implemented by leading scientists).
