The Central University of Nationalities (Beijing) held an award ceremony for Elena Kozhevnilova, associate professor from the Department of the Russian Language for International Students of the Pre-university Training Programme at the Institute of International Education of Voronezh State University. Vice-rector for International Relations, Ms Soong granted the lecturer with a commemorative token for the pedagogical work in the framework of the research and educational cooperation agreement between the universities.
Elena Kozhevnikova also received an award from the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Central University of Nationalities. Ms Zhang Na, the Director of the Institute, and Ms Zhao Chunjing, the Dean of the Faculty of the Russian Language and the Languages of the Central Asian Countries, praised the professionalism and competence of the lecturer from the Russian partner university.
The associate professor from VSU spent five years in China in total (between 2010 and 2019) teaching 15 disciplines to students from the Faculty of the Russian Language and the Languages of the Central Asian Countries and preparing bachelor and master's students for various language competitions (at the national, regional, municipal, and university levels) where students from the Chinese partner university became prize-winners.
