Two floors of the main building of VSU were transformed into a jousting field as two VSU artists, lecturers at the Faculty of Journalism, Vladimir Goncharov and Vladimir Tulupov, demonstrated their works and competed in artistry.
Vladimir Goncharov’s collection “China through the eyes of an artist” opens the door to the Chinese culture, while Vladimir Tulupov’s exhibition “Summer 2019: Voronezh – Dombai – Voronezh”, opened on 25 October, brings the audience to a sunny summer in Dombai. The artists suggested that their collections were exhibited at the same time in a kind of an art battle, a competition of styles, topics, and creativity.
Vladimir Tulupov’s collection includes 24 works. The artist said that he painted all the pictures this summer, either in Voronezh or in Dombai. Among the first visitors of the exhibition were VSU staff and students, as well as pupils from Voronezh lyceum No. 4.
“This collection is the result of my summer work. Most pictures reflect my impression of Dombai, a place my wife and me visited this summer. I’ve loved mountains since I was a child. The way the sun shines there, the colours, the mist, and the sunrise in the mountains. My advice to everyone is to go and see the mountains sometime,” said the artist.
