On 22 November, the closing concert of the First Year Student – 2019 festival took place. For the whole month, 17 faculties of Voronezh State University competed for the title of the most creative team.
This year the prizes were awarded as follows: the Faculty of Journalism took 1st place, 2nd place was taken by the Faculty of Physics, and third by the Faculty of Law.
The rest of the prizes were awarded as follows:
- 4th place – the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics
- 5th place – the Faculty of History
- 6th place – the Faculty of Mathematics
- 7th place – the Faculty of Geology
- 8th place – the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences
- 9th place – the Faculty of Computer Sciences
- 10th place – the Faculty of Economics
- 11th place – the Faculty of International Relations
- 12th place – the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology
- 13th place – the Faculty of Philology
- 14th place – the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology
- 15th place – the Faculty of Pharmaceutics
- 16th place – the Faculty of Chemistry
- 17th place – the Faculty of Geography, Geoecology, and Tourism
“The First Year Student – 2019 festival was marked by a number of great performances. It is also very good that all the students put a lot of effort in the decorations. This year they were larger and of greater quality. The students wanted it to be like a real theatrical performance. The audience was also larger and we received a lot of good reviews”, said Natalia Bukhvalova, a member of the Leisure and Culture Department.
The best performances presented at the festival were followed by announcing the winners and awardees in many nominations of the festival.
