In December, Voronezh State University International Education Institute held a series of extra-curricular events. A trip to Zadonsk was among the most memorable ones. International students were invited to visit this city by the administration of school № 1. They put on a concert and then went sightseeing.
Another interesting event was a lesson about fellowship held by students from Zambia and Nigeria in the Koltsov gymnasium. They told schoolchildren about their home countries, showed some works of national handicraft and national costumes.
A New Year party “Let’s get acquainted” organised and held by the staff of the Leisure and Culture Centre of the Institute of International Education was another colourful event. During this annual event newly-arrived students introduce the audience to their culture through national songs and dances.
