On 26 March, another public lecture took place in the “Amital” bookstore as part of the project called “A Large University for a Large City”. Alexander Khaustov, engineer of the Department of Physical Geography and Landscape Optimization of Voronezh State University, talked about volunteer projects of Russian Geographical Society. He told the audience about his own experience of participating in expeditions and visiting different parts of the world with the help of Russian Geographical Society.
His lecture which was broadcast online had over three thousand views over a day.
The project “A Large University for a Large City” is supervised by the Department of Pre-University Training and Enrolment of Students of Voronezh State University. The host of the meeting was Larisa Diakova, Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism of VSU.
