The semi-finalists of the Innovation in Education Competition 2020 have been announced. One of them is the Tournament of Three Sciences. This federal competition between student teams, who solve problems in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, is held every year at Voronezh State University.
This year, 405 applications were submitted for the Innovation in Education Competition 2020. During the first stage, they were analysed by 120 experts specialising in education, innovations, project research, and marketing. Each initiative was judged by two experts based on the following criteria: importance, innovativeness, scale, and the maturity of the project.
The teams that passed the first qualifying stage were invited to take part in the summer accelerator school. The participants will have an opportunity to improve their project with the consideration of the obtained knowledge and individual methodological and business consultations. This year, the summer school will be held online. The improved projects will then be presented in the final to the jury, potential investors, and the public. The winner will get a travel grant to present their ideas in any part of the world.
The final will be held between 21 and 23 October as part of Moscow International Forum “Open Innovations”.
