On 16 June, the rating agency RAEX published their ranking of the 100 best Russian universities. In 2020, VSU took 43rd place in this ranking.
RAEX used statistical data and the results of surveys from over 61.5 thousand respondents: representatives of the academic community, students, graduates, and employers. In 2020, 164 universities took part in the survey.
The criteria for the ranking included: the level of teaching, international integration, resources, and popularity among university entrants. The following groups of indices were analysed to estimate the popularity of the university among its graduates: “cooperation with employers” and “the quality of graduates’ careers”. The evaluation of the level of research at the university is based on its innovative activities, research achievements, and research infrastructure.
The RAEX–100 rankings have been published regularly since 2012. Their goal is to evaluate the ability of universities to provide their graduates with high quality knowledge and skills in view of conditions in which they had been developed and on the results of their application.
