An exhibition of Elizaveta Pinakhina's art opened on 22 July in the Rector Gallery located in the main building of the Voronezh State University. The VSU rector, Dmitry Endovitsky, and the staff of the university were present at the opening ceremony.
“The guardians of the VSU History Museum Alexandra Stepinina and Angelika Makarova got us addicted to “the intellectual drug”. We have grown very fond of art exhibitions and now cannot imagine our life without them. Dear friends, today we are happy to welcome to our gallery a remarkable artist with an outstanding artistic style and taste. The works presented contribute greatly to the growth of our university! This art allows us to switch from everyday problems to observing beauty and inspires us to reaching for new heights,” said VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky.
The VSU exhibition, which reveals various facets of the creative talent of Elizaveta Pinakhina, presents over 40 paintings, including portraits, landscapes, still-life and genre paintings.
“A personal exhibition is always an important event in an artist’s life. Each work triggers a discussion on the magical nature of life itself and the outstanding beauty of our region. “I hope that my works will make one think about what is truly important, and will give a new perspective to the familiar,” says the artist.
