The Faculty of Computer Sciences of the Voronezh State University furthers their cooperation with Samsung. In 2019 the Faculty of Computer Sciences launched joint educational programs: IT Samsung School – for school children, and IT Samsung Academy: Mobile Application – for students. In 2020 the Faculty of Computer Sciences launches another program for students – IT Samsung Academy: Internet of Things.
The company organised the Samsung Android Bootcamp summer school for the attendees of the educational program, which will take place from the 15th of July till the 2nd of August. Alexey Nuzhnikh, an assistant of the Department of Programming and Information Technologies, a certified professor of the IT Samsung School, participated in organizing and convening the summer school. He delivered two lectures: “FireBase services: message exchange” and “Using the MVVM design pattern in developing an application. ViewModel and LiveData classes”.
Based on the results of the summer school Alexey Vasilievich was named the Best Young Professor.
