In anticipation of the extended meeting of the Academic Council of the heads of departments which will take place on 31 August at 10:00 am in the main building of VSU, we publish “The mission, vision, strategy, and operational objectives of VSU for the academic year of 2020–2021”.
“It is impossible to speak about the current and future objectives of our university without taking into consideration the overall situation, the circumstances which we have been subject to starting March 2020, that is the COVID-19 pandemic. All of VSU's activities in the academic year of 2020–2021 will be related to managing multiple risks associated with the epidemiologic situation in our country and around the world. Academic, administrative, and managerial staff members will have to work in a well-coordinated manner to overcome all the challenges of the upcoming academic year. We all share a love for our university, an aspiration to safeguard our traditions, so that our university prospers and develops, that is why I feel optimistic about the upcoming academic year,” says VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky.
