On 23 January, the first video for the project “The Multinational Faculty of History” was released by the Faculty of History of Voronezh State University. The main character of the issue was a first year student, Aychemen Arnagylyzhova, from Turkmenistan who recited a folk fairy tale. The video can be viewed in the VKontakte group of the Faculty of History.
The author of the project is Aliona Syrovarkina, a curator of the Student Council at the faculty.
“Every year, more and more international students enter the Faculty of History. They come from all over the world: starting from India to the countries of Latin America. Every year, the Student Council of the Faculty of History invents new events to help students get to know each other. However, under the current circumstances the Student Council decided to focus on the international students who are taking a new step on their way to education and have had to leave their countries and cultures for a long time,” said the curator.
Three more parts of the project are expected in the future.
