On 13 February, Voronezh State University and ATP-1 signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Vladimir Georgievsky, executive director of ATP-1, and VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky.
“We have huge experience working with industrial partners. The interaction with them provides us with a completely differently approach not only to student training but also to the development of many areas of the region’s economy. Transport is an integral part of everyone’s lives, so I’m sure our specialists will enjoy joining the work on making improvements in this area. VSU possesses great capabilities. We have unique specialists and the greatest minds. Therefore, in the nearest future, it would be useful to conduct meetings with the heads of the departments of the development of information technologies, robotics, applied mathematics and mechanics and find out how the university’s laboratory and research facilities can help in the development of public transport in Voronezh,” noted Dmitry Endovitsky.
Vladimir Georgievsky added that none of the companies can be competitive on the market if they do not move towards digitising.
“We have already seen a great project by one of the participants of the “Innovation League” educational programme. We are sure that closer cooperation with VSU will take our transport area to a new level.”
The cooperation between VSU and the transport company involves joint initiatives. Among the priority areas are the implementation of scientific and technological projects, innovative activities, supporting student events and programmes for university entrants, and organisation of social events.
