The journal “Proceedings of Voronezh State University. Series: Economics and Management” has been approved by experts and included in a large online catalogue of high-profile reviewed open access journals, the base of open access journals DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals).
DOAJ indexing proves that the journal meets all the key international requirements and is a journal of high quality. To be included into the database, a journal has to undergo a thorough manual and automated analysis by several dozen varied criteria which characterise all the aspects of the publishing process (editorial policy, competence of the editorial board, transparency of the processes of accepting, reviewing, and publication of articles, access to the full texts of the articles, copyright protection, research ethics, privacy, plagiarism policy, etc.).
The goal of DOAJ is to promote and popularise the soaring number of journals accessible on the Internet free of charge, to enhance the role of the international movement “Open Access Journals”, and to provide easier access to free electronic journals.
Currently, the base of open access journals DOAJ includes over 16,000 journals from 124 countries, which is less than 10% of the total number of journals published annually in the world.
