VSU improved its position from 611 to 567 (by 44 points) in the subject ranking Natural Sciences of the RUR World University. The ranking assesses the activities of 700 leading universities of the world in the field of natural sciences.
The RUR World University Ranking has been evaluating the performance of higher education institutions worldwide since 2010. Over 11 years, 1,100 leading universities from 85 countries have entered the ranking. The ranking uses 20 criteria to analyse the universities’ activities. These criteria have been grouped into four key areas: teaching, research, international diversity, and financial stability. The RUR rankings are designed to provide relevant information about higher education around the world to solve the individual needs of the concerned parties: students, academic community, university administration, and politicians.
