VSU signed a cooperation agreement with 15 universities. On 17 June, a meeting of the Association of Higher Education Institutions of the Central Russia chaired by Dmitry Endovitsky was held at Tver State Technical University.
VSU’s new partners include Yaroslavl State Technical University, Lipetsk State Technical University, Tver State Technical University, Voronezh State Technical University, Ryazan State University named for S. Yesenin, Smolensk State University, Kursk State University, Kostroma State University, Bryansk State Engineering and Technological University, Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, Derzhavin Tambov State University, Tambov State Technical University, Tula State University, Voronezh State University of Forestry and Technologies named after G.F. Morozov, and Voronezh Institute of High Technologies. The participants of the meeting discussed the issues concerning the partnership between universities, development of extra-curricular activities at universities, and promotion of sports among students. The meeting was held both online and offline.
Oleg Grishayev, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Social Development, made a presentation about the participation of the association in the All-Russia Convention of Student Teams.
The association was founded over 7 years ago. Its members have a number of joint dissertation boards, hold academic competitions for schoolchildren in Russia, organise joint dissertation defence procedures, prepare for accreditations, and promote academic mobility of students.
