DataArt is going to open a corporate centre at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics. The representatives of the company say that they will try to convey the atmosphere of the IT community.
“We’ve been collaborating with Voronezh State University for many years, since the opening of the Voronezh DataArt Development Centre. Most our employees in Voronezh are VSU graduates. We establish contacts with students starting from the 1st year by taking part in professional events at the university and organising our own intensive training courses. We help students to take the first steps in their career. Half of the employees of the Voronezh development centre have completed our internship programme. I.e. they came to the company with good qualifications but no experience. We are not just partners with the faculties which train IT specialists. We are friends. We want to create a comfortable and creative environment for students and inspire them to make a career in IT,” said Elena Fyodorova, Vice President of Business Development in Eastern Europe.
“This idea is most welcome. DataArt is one of the leaders on the international IT market. We’ve been collaborating for dozens of years in the area of professional training and career guidance. This is why I warmly welcome the idea to create a DataArt “IT harbour” at the university. I am sure it will be beneficial both for our students and for the company,” said VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky.
“A corporate centre is a natural and important stage of the partnership between DataArt and VSU. Although the centre will be based at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics, I want to stress that students and lecturers from any faculty of the university are welcome at the centre,” said Konstantin Fedutinov, deputy dean of the faculty.
