A Voronezh State University delegation together with Olga Boriskina, the Dean of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, and Vladimir Rodionov, the Director of the International Education Institute, attended the 5th International Week held by the University of León within the Erasmus+ academic exchange programme and the partnership agreement between the two universities. The delegation had a meeting with the vice-rector of the University of León, Professor Roberto Baelo, the dean of the Faculty of Philology, Juan Matas, and the coordinator of the master’s degree programme “Lingüística y Enseñanza de Español como Lengua Extranjera”, Milka Villayandre.
The meeting resulted in an agreement to open a joint master’s degree programme. Together with their colleagues from Austria, Germany, Bosnia, Mexico, Ecuador, and Chile, the VSU representatives took part in master classes and round table discussions organised by the University of León as part of the 5th International Week. Since the beginning of the pandemic, it was the first official visit by VSU representatives to a foreign partner university.
