On 18 August, VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky had a meeting with the head of the laboratory for radio communication algorithms of the Moscow Research Centre of Huawei, Vladimir Lyashev. The meeting was also attended by representatives of Huawei and members of the Faculty of Physics of VSU.
Dmitry Endovitsky told the guests about the university’s traditions and made a presentation on “Network cooperation of VSU with the business community”, where he focused on the partnership between the university and leading Russian companies and enterprises. The rector also talked about R&D projects conducted by VSU together with partner enterprises.
Vladimir Lyashev in turn talked about the Moscow Research Centre of Huawei, its history, the main research areas, and the current tasks facing the laboratory of radio communication algorithms. He also talked about the partnership with universities and research and education centres.
Having exchanged the information about their research activities, the parties discussed the prospects for a partnership. In particular, they talked about educational activities at VSU that will meet the needs of Huawei.
