The journal “Condensed matters and interphases” published at the Faculty of Chemistry of Voronezh State University entered the fourth quartile in the Scopus international database. The journal was included in the database in 2019. Now it has taken the Q4 position and will be indexed.
“One thing is to be included in Scopus and another thing is to move up the quartiles. This year, we entered the 4th quartile, which indicates progress. Now, our task is to secure the position. To do so, besides articles by leading Russian researchers we have to publish papers by international research collaborations and international authors,” said Vera Logachyeva, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry of VSU.
“Condensed media and interfaces” is a leading journal which deals with modern issues relating to condensed matter and physical and chemical processes. It publishes the results of new research projects at the intersection of contemporary condensed matter physics and chemistry, material science and nanoindustry, solid state chemistry, and inorganic and physical chemistry. The editor-in-chef of the journal is Viktor Semenov, the Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry.
