On 13 January, the winners of the first 2022 competition for presidential grants were named at a meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Presidential Grants Fund. The Tournament of Three Sciences was among 1942 projects supported by the Foundation.
The new format of the tournament was an undeniable benefit. It includes not only scientific battles, but also a whole ecosystem of educational events aimed at the development of the hard and soft skills of students from regional natural science and technical universities.
The ecosystem will include:
- An online school for the preliminary preparation of future participants.
- On-site qualifying and final stages of the tournament.
- A tournament career centre with internships and summer schools as well as career counselling and mentoring.
From now on, the Tournament of Three Sciences will be an educational platform allowing students to gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in order to build a successful career in the field of fundamental sciences or in a knowledge-intensive company.
The organising committee and the ANO Laboratory for Educational Projects are grateful to the participants, jury members, and partners of the tournament that helped with the preparation of the winning application.
As is traditional, the final stage of the tournament will be held at Voronezh State University at the end of 2022.
