Athletes from VSU became prize-winners in the top division of the All-Russian Super Final of the Russian Championship of the ASSC. They were third in the 3x3 women’s basketball table tennis tournaments. The students won the Ultimate Frisbee competitions. In addition, Maxim Kulinchenko a fourth year student from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics took second place in the individual table tennis championship. The final of the championship was held in Kazan.
On 30 May, the delegation was congratulated by VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky and Oleg Grishaev, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Social Development.
“Every time, you demonstrate power and a will-to-win and team spirit. And you never give up. Thank you!” said VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky.
The rector awarded Natalia Bukhvalova, Art Director of the university, and Danila Bashlykov, a fourth year student from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics, with golden Ready for Labour and Defence badges.
