On 28 June, students from the Faculty of International Relations had a meeting with the director of the Institute of Europe Alexey Gromyko. The meeting was dedicated to the current issues in the European policy.
Alexey Gromyko talked about the main trends in the political life of today’s Europe and then answered the students’ questions. He also talked about the specifics of the functioning of academic institutions and encouraged students to continue their studies of current international relations.
The speaker and the students discussed the trends in the policies of the leading European countries, the causes of today’s conflicts, and the prospects of the formation of new global frameworks for international relations. The meetings of the heads of academic institutions with university students are to be held on a regular basis.
