On July 22, VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky signed a partnership agreement with Anatoly Balbekov, head of the administration of Bobrov municipal district, and Anna Merkusheva, director of the A.V. Gordeev education centre Leader.
Following the agreement, the first “Academic class” in the Voronezh Region will be opened at A.V. Gordeev education centre Leader. The delegation to Bobrov also included deans of VSU faculties and faculty staff, as well as specialists of the Department of Pre-university Education of VSU.
The education programme of the “Academic class” will help students to immerse in research and project activities in order to make a conscious choice regarding their future professions in knowledge-intensive sectors of the economy. Secondary school students will have an opportunity to conduct research using modern equipment and technologies. The “Academic class” will also offer advanced courses in physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, history, literature, and the English language.
The meeting also developed a roadmap for the 2022–2023 academic year.
